Wedding talk.

It’s taken over various aspects of my life, and I’m not even engaged for f*cks sake! Ok ok, so maybe that was a little harsh.

My best friend and two of my very good friends actually are though, so it’s a hot topic in our daily conversations. Now, don’t get me wrong. I know I will meet someone, fall in love, and get married IN DUE TIME… but with everything surrounding me, I cant help but think about how I would have my own wedding. I swear, it’s those damn ovaries… one of their main functions is to trick your mind into thinking these things are important for you to figure out even if it’s not relevant in your life.

I was browsing on Facebook (of course) earlier today and my old friend Drew posted up something about being a non denominational wedding officiant. It got me thinking about who I would want to officiate my TBD ceremony… and in an instant I decided I would want it to be one of my best friends. It’s just as important to me as who is my maid/man of honor. In another instant I knew I had to ask the one and only GKahr.

Perfect for the job.

Especially considering his wife AKahr would be in the wedding party as well. To make a long story short, I asked GKahr if he would figure out a way to be ordained like Drew was and he said he would. Way to throw a curveball in the night’s festivities huh? I’m glad I asked though.. It’s good to know that real friends are in it for the long haul and when something like that is important to you… it automatically becomes important to them simply because of what it means to you.

Now enough of the estrogen filled blog post… Hahaha.
